Zoom Zoom!!

Mummy and abah are so sick of carrying me all the time so they got me a walker and prayed very hard that I will like being in it. Wa...I think that is the best investment they made. I loved zooming around in my new walker! And I can explore around the house without being reStrained... How I hate being in the car seat and stroller... Yucks!

Think they both can have some peace before I start to learn to crawl and walk... Little terror, here I come!

Ouch!!!!

I fell from the bed last night... *Bawls*

Much as I enjoy rolling around mummy's bed, I certainly do not enjoy doing that when they are not around to watch me.. I woke up for my milk as usual and rolled over and before hitting the floor, I hit the fan stand. Wa, very pain leh! Mummy actually did a 100 m dash when she heard me stirred but I was too fast for her to even attempt to dive to catch me..Abah immediately rushed in and pacified me while I chewed on his shoulder for comfort.

This is the second time already..

To all the mummies and daddies out there. Pls do not take for granted and leave us on the bed unattended cos we are faster than you think we are.

Mummy got a big scolding from grandma when she called this morning with her usual " How's my cutie????"
Mummy, pls be more careful next time ok?

A Day at the Beach

It was a holiday yesterday and we decided to head down east coast for a picnic with uncle Muk, aunty Hanni, aunty Lissa as well as abang Hamzah and kakak Najeeha.
The weather was perfect and we were all very excited.
Aunty Hanni made nice yummy fried rice, as well as egg mayo sandwich. I still bo geh so cannot eat lor.. can only drool at the nice aroma that filled the air as she opened the tupperware.
Hmmm...

I went swimming with abah as usual but this time I clung on to him for dear life... I was feeling quite scared and was practically shivering. Perhaps the water was quite cold and also it had been quite some time since I last swam so I was beginning to get a bit fearful. But Abah's strong arms were there to assure me that everything would be ok. We swam for about 45 mins and then stopped as I was getting tired.

After a nice bath aunty Lissa brought me for a stroll.
The leaves of the balmy trees rustled along with the cool wind and soon I was off to Lalaland.. After a good nap I was getting hyper active again and played with abang hamzah and kakak Najeha.

It was a wonderful afternoon and we all enjoyed ourselves very much!
More picnics in future please!!

Gong Xi Gong Xi!

Yippee! I get to celebrate Chinese New Year this year!
See my red baju... thanks to Aunty Raihana for getting it for me.
Although I was literally swimming in it, it was quite fun to be wearing this. I felt like a Kung Fu master...
* Ka-Pow!!!*

We finally visited great-grandma on the last day of CNY. Great grandma has been in-out of hospital for the past 2 weeks. A lot of them said I look so much like abah... I secretly think it is because I am tanned.. muahahaha!
But got some uncles and aunties commented that I am a handsome boy. I could almost see abah smiling from ear to ear cos that actually indirectly meant that he is handsome...

Mummy decided to open all the ang paos today. Harvest for this year is not bad.. All this will go into Danyaal's Trust Fund. Insya Allah, it will grow with the years to come....

Bye bye mummy...

I am going to miss him....
Although going back to work means getting my life back, which is something I quite yearn for after being a cave woman for 3 whole months, I can't help but feel very sad. Afterall we have been with each other everyday and to think that from tomorrow onwards, I will not be the one doing all the things for him... bathing him, feeding him, singing lullabies to him.. All these just leave a huge lump in my throat.
Since his arrival, he has caused so much emotions in both of us. Tears of frustration when I dunno what he is crying for. Heart being torn into pieces when he cried for one hour from pain due to his circumcison...The closeness that bind us together whenever I nurse him. The warmness he fills our heart whenever he coos at us. The joy he brings whenever he greets us with a smile first thing in the morning. I will miss so many of his "firsts". His first attempt at crawling... his first vowel.. his first chuckle... *signs*
Well I guess that is what all working mothers have to face.

Today is the last day that mummy and I are going to spend the day together cos from tomorrow onwards I will be taken care by nenek already.
Mummy is going back to work tomorrow. I know she is very sad because this morning she bathed me, I saw tears in her eyes. How I wish I can put my arms around her and tell her it's ok, I will be in good hands and ask her not to be feel sad.

Mummy, I will miss you too.
But you need to work.
Cos you need to buy me more toys.
Muahahahaha!
